"pig headed", "stubborn", "obstinate"; these are all adjectives (and apparently synonyms) for the proper noun "disa". when salmon swim upstream the result is; they die. however, while going against the natural flow is exhausting i have also found it is a good way to waste time.
i have been thrashing and splashing against my own, personal "obvious". now it's time to let go and take the lazy river approach (the universe hands you an inner tube if you take the lazy river). my grandmother used to tell me that when people say they have "a plan", god laughs, i imagine he has been doubled over, silently convulsing at my upstream antics.
